    Same but different!

There is a non-verbal, agreed upon, collective wisdom to acquiring maturity.  I mean maturity of all sorts such as financial, emotional, social etc.

Most people will agree that you must first stabilize your financial reality in order to then be able to do things which will allow you to become who you really are.  It is a matter of having, doing and being.

I would like to suggest that we turn this on its head.

What if we first be who we are, which will definitely help us identify what it is we want to do, which, plenty of examples have shown us, lead to having what we want.

You don’t need to throw your life out the window to try it out.  Start small. Find the one thing you have always wanted to do and start connecting to it in any way you can; read about it, talk about it, go to it, take pictures of it, whatever….and see for yourself what happens.  Give yourself time. This is a marathon, not a sprint. You will do better if you pace yourself.

How you lead yourself, and others, matters.
